Consumer Rights Act 2015 – the BIS guidance is here

Yesterday the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) published a summary of key consumer rights under the new law. The page provides a short introduction and an interactive checklist to help businesses ready themselves for the changes coming into force on 1 October 2015. It links to a plain English summary for consumers of what the Consumer Rights Act does, and to more in depth guidance.

Helpfully, the summary for consumers is also provided as a Word document, allowing businesses to tailor it for their own use.
