This session is designed to be a practical one, aimed at improving attendees' understanding of neurodiversity and providing practical guidance with real examples to assist you in your recruitment and employment of neurodivergent colleagues. In addition to the guest speakers, Sara and Pili will be available to discuss any employment law related issues that you may wish to raise in the session or during the networking.

Introduction to neurodiversity - Kate Dean, Adjust
Kate will introduce the concept of neurodiversity and address the issues behind the official diagnostic stats around groups who may find accessing a formal diagnosis hard/impossible.

Minimising barriers in the recruitment process - Louise Fowkes, Robert Walters
Louise will share best-in-class examples from employers leading the way in embedding neuroinclusion across the recruitment process. 

Creating neuroinclusive work spaces - Ainslie Wilson-Shearer, Mills & Reeve
Ainslie will talk about some of the ways that Mills & Reeve support our neurodivergent colleagues, including how we build neuroinclusion into our organisation and workspace design.
