Our experience

Examples of our work include:

• Dealing with the employment aspects of the sale of a business by a PLC. This included advising on an internal re-organisation undertaken pre-sale and negotiating employment aspects of the sale agreement.
  
  
• Supporting a large publishing client in relation to the closure of two of its offices. This involved a TUPE transfer and redundancies. We also advised our client on strategic considerations, including messaging to other employees about the office closures.
  
  
• Advising a life sciences business on a complex claim of unfair dismissal and disability discrimination brought by an employee who resigned when faced with a potential disciplinary in relation to unsafe working practices.
  
  
• Acting for a retailer in its decoupling from a multinational group across many jurisdictions. This was a complex matter involving advice on dismissals, reorganisations, TUPE and sensitive consultation issues.
