- Fraudulent and suspicious claims
- Breaches of warranties, terms and conditions
- Material damage and business interruption
- Double insurance and contribution
- Facultative reinsurance, claims control, international claims management
- Cyber, product recall, political violence, and other crisis management products
- Rectification
- Subrogation
- Jurisdiction disputes
Classes include general property, delegated authority, industrial property, power, engineering, mining, machinery breakdown, renewables, contamination, jewellery and fine art and specie and political violence.
Through mediation, expert determination, arbitration or litigation, we deal with the resolution or determination of all types of property insurance related disputes.
Our team works with re/insurers on the drafting of policy wordings, settlement agreements and releases.
We represent insurers and reinsurers sued in incorrect jurisdictions if necessary through the use of declaratory proceedings and anti-suit injunctions, and through the instruction of overseas counsel.
