Linda is an employment lawyer with extensive health sector experience.

She advises NHS Trusts and health bodies on all employment matters, from day-to-day issues such as managing attendance, performance, discipline and grievance, to discrimination, whistleblowing, service re-configurations and reorganisations and TUPE.

Linda regularly represents clients in employment tribunal proceedings and is experienced in managing complex, multi-day litigation.

Understanding the practical and legal implications of various approaches enables her to provide effective strategies to ensure fully informed decision-making. Advice on a complex and sensitive TUPE matter enabled a client to achieve an important business requirement which protected it from potential additional expenditure. Her early involvement in management of a complex employee discrimination grievance put a client in a very good position to robustly defend employment tribunal claims which were subsequently lodged, saving time and costs.

She understands the mediation approach to employee matters and is experienced in judicial mediation in the employment tribunal.
