Andrew specialises in complex commercial partnering contracts. He has advised on many high value public private partnerships (sectors including health, energy, and detention) and assisted to export PPPs to South Africa. Andrew's current focus is guiding the public and private sectors through complex collaborative procurements for assets and services as varied as Typhoon jets, flood defences and battlefield communications systems.

Supporting your ambitions

Andrew led the team advising on a transformational programme to upgrade and redesign the battlefield communications system for the Ministry of Defence. This £ multi-billion pathfinder project was subject to challenging time frames to achieve "refresh" before the existing system encountered obsolescence issues. As our team won the confidence of both MOD and the System Provider we were asked to expand our support to assist to clearly document the service requirement. We initiated "live drafting"workshops with the parties' key technicians and commercial officers and achieved iterative contract development at pace, enabling contract close ahead of the scheduled completion date.

What else should you know?

Andrew lives in a very active and friendly South Cambridgeshire village. He was a Parish Councillor and served for a four year term during which a private road in the village was resurfaced after 30 years of neglect. The process took two years involving, land registry searches, village meetings and cajoling interested parties to contribute. Andrew likes a challenge!
