Mills & Reeve continues growth with new London office
Crowned Law Firm of the Year at the British Legal Awards, Mills & Reeve has been based in Monument Place since 2015 and made the move to 24 King William Street today. (16 September 2019). This follows a successful year for the firm with record turnover of £111 million.
The move has been driven by the continued expansion of the London office with growth in a number of key sectors. The insurance team was bolstered by the arrival of two new partners, Andrew Tobin and Paul Dowsey Both bring significant experience advising insurers and reinsurers protecting them in litigation, working closely with international lawyers on political risk, trade credit, political violence, power generation and heavy industrial risks around the globe.
The private wealth team also continues to expand with the addition of Sarah Cormack from Withers. Sarah is well known for her work advising on tax, trusts and estate planning for ultra-high net worth international individuals and their families. She was joined by Suzanne Kingston, “the queen of arbitration” at the start of the summer as consultant in the family team, bringing 30 years of expertise and experience, including a real focus on resolution methods like arbitration, collaborative law and meditation.
