New 'Fit and Proper Person Test' framework: what you need to know

NHS England has published a new framework which overhauls the Fit and Proper Person Test in response to the review conducted by Tom Kark KC.

New obligations apply from 30 September 2023, with full implementation expected by 31 March 2024.

The framework introduces new and more comprehensive requirements around board appointments, annual reviews, and provision of references, which have widespread implications from a HR, legal and governance perspective.

Join us for our webinar on Wednesday 6 September 2023.

We will cover:

  • Key elements of the framework
  • What’s changing (and what’s not)
  • The practical steps you need to take now
  • Other key things to think about from an employment law and governance perspective

Who this is for:

This webinar is specifically designed for Chairs, Chief Executives, Chief People Officers, Company Secretaries, Directors of Corporate Affairs and other senior members of staff nominated to support the FPPT process.

Register here.

We hope you can join Jog Hundle, Stuart Craig and Rebecca Pallot.
