Biodiversity Net Gain one year in: what's worked, what hasn't and what's next?

Male Presenter Seminar

It's twelve months since mandatory Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) was introduced in England.  Although intended to promote sustainability and enhance the natural environment, BNG can present challenges to developers, including additional complexity, cost and delay to projects.  At the same time, it brings a potential economic opportunity for landowners through the sale of biodiversity units.  As the real estate industry navigates the evolving world of BNG, it's crucial to stay connected and informed.

Join us at this breakfast event in our London office with a panel of experts to discuss, amongst other things, which aspects of BNG have operated effectively, which have not, and what changes we hope to see introduced in future.

The panel will include James Scott from Urban&Civic, Mark Kelly from Cemex and Chris Scott from BioFarm,  Our new environmental partner, Rob Biddlecombe will chair the discussion, where you will be invited to put questions to the panel.  Environmental principal associate, Callum Ross, will provide a summary of the key requirements under BNG.

This breakfast event offers a unique opportunity to network with fellow property professionals and stakeholders and hear more about this topical issue.

If you've dietary requests or need adjustments to take part in this event, please complete our requirements form.
