Connect more: creating the conditions for a more resilient and sustainable higher education system in England
We’re delighted to share the new report “Connect more: creating the conditions for a more resilient and sustainable higher education system in England” that we’ve prepared in collaboration with Wonkhe. The report explores the conditions for structural change in higher education. In the report, we review discussions with heads of institutions and stakeholders across the sector on the appetite of many to radically collaborate in response to current financial issues, and on a longer-term strategic basis. We also examine some of the policy levers that may help to facilitate discussions between relevant stakeholders to drive forward change.
An outline of the main concerns and conclusions in the report is available here.
Alongside the report, Neil Smyth shares thoughts on why Higher education in England needs a special administration regime.
